1. Choose Your Perfect Wedding Venue. Think of your vision before you start looking to keep you on track and find the venue which ticks all your boxes
2. Be flexible with your date. To get the venue you want (and many times get a discount) you may need to look at a weekday. Remember the guests who attend will be there for you regardless of the day of the week. For destination weddings they will make a vacation of it.
3. Hire a wedding coordinator. (Seascape packages include a coordinator-me!). A professional coordinator is priceless in assisting you with acquiring the best vendors and pricing, keeping you on schedule and most of all- taking the stress off you so you can enjoy your special day.
4. Don’t overwhelm yourself with all the details at the beginning, take it step by step. One more reason to hire a coordinator who will keep you on track.
5. Determine a realistic budget. Decide in order of priority what is most important: what you must have and what you are willing to compromise on.
6. Work on your guest list. Your venue will need it to allocate your space and food and beverage. Remember approximately 30% of invited guests are unable to make it.
7. Arrange with the venue and local hotels discounted rooms for your guests to book. Inform your guests of the different options, phone numbers and dates to book by.
