The property is in a great location. Just a short walk across the street! The property was clean and well maintained. Now our particular condo was not really clean. It needs to be updated and painted. The 2 sofa beds, which we needed were not usable. They were broken. Although, it was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.

This space needs a remodel. Outdated and worn. Bed bows in the middle. It’s time for some paint and updates
View is perfect and cannot be beat. Would be great if owner added a few more cooking tools but we cooked a lot and others may not.

We enjoyed our vacation very much. The Resort was clean and the views are amazing. This unit in particular could use a little bit of a makeover. The walls and trim were could be painted and a few holes need fixed. It was clean and most all amenities you would need(no hair dryer) were provided.

Condo could of been cleaned way better. Floors not very clean, sleeps 10 but not enough sheets or bedding to use pullout couch, provides a broom not dust pan, found dirty glasses in cupboard as well.

The unit needs upgraded. One of the chairs on the balcony is broken, the outside table is wobbly bc one of the feet is broken. One of couch beds are broken as well and is unusable. Also there weren’t enough blankets so we had to go buy some. Majestic Sun is great but the unit we stayed in definitely needs an upgrade.

The complex is great! Couldn’t ask for a better view of the ocean! Plenty of parking, very large pool, great location and quiet. Nice large condo with 3 bdrms/3 baths. Down side - mattress’s need replaced, balcony furniture has only 5chairs and is worn, condo is generally dirty(floors, walls, shower walls). We will definitely return to this area!!

quick trip to the beach

Booked with short notice for a stay over labor weekend and to attend a local festival. The unit was dated, needed a deep cleaning (dust on the ceiling over the fans), and had furniture that wasn't very comfortable. However the view was awesome, the amenities and location were hard to beat, and we had a good stay.

disappointed in condo 514a

The condo I rented was a big disappointment especially for the money paid. The dishwasher didn't work, the couches/sofa beds were broken down and could not be slept on, there was no curtain or even blinds on the sliding glass door in Living Room, several of the chairs at dining table wobbled, the Master broom sliding door did not work, the sheets on one of the beds was the wrong size and kept coming off and the Master bedroom tub would barely drain and the condo itself was not kept up.Also table on patio was broken.

tons of space, beautiful view, but no blackout curtains

Tons of space for everyone. It was great to have so many bathrooms. The living area was comfortable with room to relax.
There are no curtains in the living room and no blackout curtains in the bedroom facing the beach. As a result, the room is very bright at 6 AM. The unit was clean when we entered with the exception on the master bedroom. There was sand in the bed which made me think the sheets had not been changed.

labor day getaway

We have been going to Majestic Sun in Miramar Beach for about 6 years now. We love the location and the amenities. However, this particular rental is in need of some upgrades and maintenance as the walls were quite beat up and the decor was quite old.

I was a little aggravated that they did not notify me in advance that I would be unable to check-in early even though I prepaid for an early check-in. They did however refund the $100 but didn't offer to compenate us for the inconvenience. The master bedroom patio sliding glass door was stuck and extremely difficult to open. It was perfect for our family. We especially liked the inclusion of the chairs and umbrella daily. We are not "artsie fartsie" people, so the outdated decor wasn't an issue for us. The balcony overlooking the pool and Miramar beach was great. One hot tub wasn't working and even though they claim a heated indoor pool, it was not. We had a great time as it was a very handy location.

The vacation rental check in and check out procedure is so easy and convenient! I paid for the early check in and at 1pm received a text message with a code to enter the unit. It was exactly as described but I do feel the unit could be updated with a more fresh and modern decor. Upon entering the unit we were greeted with the strong smell of bleach and seafood. My eyes began watering so i opened the door and balcony to try to air the unit out, but it was fruitless. I went to the store and purchased Febreeze Spray, candles and OdorBan to kill the smell which helped some, but the strong mixed odor lasted until the next day late in the afternoon. To eliminate the odor I had to burn febreeze candles throughout our stay. Also there was sand (visible) on the floor throughout the unit. We swept (which we purchased a broom since there was no broom or mop in the unit. Overall a nice stay but the cleaning could have been better.

great location. lots of room

It was a great rental. We loved the condo and location. A few things to note for improvement to make it an excellent rental.
1. The 2 free beach chairs with umbrella are located down the beach from the condo. The ones in front of the condo cost to rent. Kind of crazy.
2. Only 5 forks in a condo that holds up to 10 people. Silverware is much needed.
3. The floors were not clean. Every room needed a good mopping up to base boards.
4. Trial size dish detergent and maybe a bottle of cleaner to wipe down counters, tables etc would have been great to have at least until we gif to store. Zero cleaning supplies available.
Beds were great. Pillows great. Need blankets for pullout sofas. Found 1 balled up in closet.
We really loved condo. If just needs some added touches to be excellent. I would rent again. The location cannot be beat.

First day, the check in was easy, but not all of our parking passes were in the condo as per agreement. The doors to the balcony would not open. All staff members were polite and easy to get in touch with. The condo needs maintenance on doors, cabinet pulls, and etc.

Our experience renting the condo was great. I had to contact the office a few times and each time they were helpful and nice(especially was easy to check in and out, and I loved that there was a code instead of a key to keep up with. The view was amazing and Seascape remains our favorite place to stay while in Destin. Our specific condo was very dated and at first glance was not cleaned very well. There was still hair in the bathrooms and the counters were dirty. There was also a spoon in the garbage disposal. The dishes in the cabinet were still dirty and had pieces of food on them. I just think that this specific condo need some updating. It is very dated and even some of the tv remotes didn’t work. The property itself is amazing and I love the convenience of the beach being right across the street. I will still rent from Seascape and Majestic Sun...I just think we had a rare hiccup. I also like having the discounts and free chairs for the beach.

Condo wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, there was sand in the closets, picture on the internet look better than condo. Need some updates, the curtains on the balcony was stained need to be replaced. Refrigerator took a long time to get cold had to call maintenance.

beautiful destin

We love this area and have stayed in this building several times. I asked for a different number that was not listed on rental agreement to be notified when property was ready. I also called and asked if they had correct number and they indicated they had the correct number. The person that needed the information to get into unit to deliver groceries never got the information. We worked around the problem and information was forwarded to correct person when I got it as my plane landed.
The unit was clean but full sets of towels were not in each bedroom. One bedroom had no towels and the others had no washcloths. There was no kitchen towels provided. We called to ask for more and was told to wash what we had. After I explained that we didn’t get towels for everyone and still needed kitchen towels they said they would deliver more. We never received more and made it work with what we had. We went to dollar store to get dish soap and rags so we made it.
The small inconvenience did not ruin our vacation. It looks s a beautiful place to be.
